    Description

    This is a 1998 Gene Doll Costume called "Embassy Luncheon". It is NEW in the original box, never removed. "Embassy Luncheon" is a compelling sleek black sheath of wool crepe. Its dramatic appeal lies in the deceptively simple lines that hug every contour. The high standing collar is lavishly hand embellished with black beads. The matching belt is removable. A back slit allows free movement. The entire dress is fully lined. Accessories include a plush silver fox "fur" stole lined in deep red, petal hat and gloves with black beadwork, drop earrings, nylons, "suede" sling back heels, and a beaded clutch purse with a working snap. Circa 1951. Designed by Laura Meisner. This outfit was first seen as a one of a kind at a Gene convention. It also comes with a wrist tag, booklet and COA.
